While their names are not on The Pillars, they are never forgotten. The NSO Virtual Memorial enables the families and friends of those who came home and later died, the opportunity to have them be forever memorialized. ​​​​​​​

The Pillars of the Navy Special Operations Memorial carry the names of Navy EOD and Navy Divers who were killed in the performance of their duties. Since the second World War, there have been 106 NSO heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice, and we will ensure that their names and legacies live on forever.
A NAVY SPECIAL OPERATIONS FOUNDATION PROJECT
The Navy Special Operations Foundation (NSOF) recognizes the importance of honoring our fallen NSO heroes and ensuring their names are honored, and their stories remembered. All donations for this project will be earmarked for the NSO Memorial and its maintenance. Any donations in excess of our goal will go towards funding our programs benefiting the Navy Special Operations Community.

NSOF is a nonprofit organization 501(c)3, Tax ID #82-3607020, founded in the state of Virginia, ensuring all NSO personnel and their families are provided with the tools necessary to overcome any challenges they may face.
